About the Webbook
What is an Interactive Webbook?
A webbook is a book published and accessed online through a website. As an interactive webbook, it includes simulators, calculators, and gamification content to focus and engage the reader.
Who is the publisher of the webbook?
The publisher of this webbook is GP2Z LLC. GP2Z LLC is a Gamified Educational Content Consultant and Publisher.
What do the webbook units include?
In addition to the interactive content embedded in each webbook unit, each unit is first characterized, and the related items of work are discussed to cover the following:
- Actual contract specifications for each item of work,
- Actual contract drawings for each item of work,
- Related testing and sampling items for each item of work,
- Typical field inspection related for each item of work,
- Time and cost factors to consider for each item of work at the bid/proposal phase and construction phase,
- Typical construction work tasks that a Contractor must perform in the execution of each item of work,
- Work planning and cost estimating of select work tasks for each item of work
- Daily cost analysis of select work tasks for each item of work,
- Production planning, forecasting, and reporting,
- Project scheduling,
- Case studies focusing on failures or mistakes on heavy civil construction projects, and
- Real-project exercises that are needed to gain a complete understanding and expertise of each item of work.
Where can I access the webbook unit?
All the webbook units are accessible by going to The Webbook Unit page on the main page.
How do I create an account or log in to my account?
On the homepage, users can create or log in to their account by clicking the Sign Up icon to register, and Log In icon to sign in.
How does the Gift a Webbook Unit work?
This feature is not available in Guest mode. So to get this feature to work, someone must first create an account and log in, and then select the webbook unit to gift.
- On the webbook unit page, click Gift this Webbook Unit.
- Fill in the following details:
- Recipient’s Name
- Recipient’s Email
- Delivery Date & Time (optional – schedule when the gift email will be sent)
- Personal Message (optional)
- Click Proceed to Checkout and complete the purchase.
- The recipient will receive an email with the gifted webbook unit.
- If the recipient has an account they will directly be redirected to their dashboard.
- If the recipient does not have an account with the site, Our platform will: Automatically create an account for them, and send them a separate email to reset their password.
- After logging in, the recipient will see the gifted webbook unit in a separate section in their dashboard.
- Click Reveal Gift next to the webbook unit.
- Once revealed: The recipient is enrolled in the webbook unit. The webbook unit will appear in their My Webbook Unit section.
Is this a One Time Purchase or Reoccurring Subscription?
All webbook units are one time purchase, they do not require subscription, and access is set to one year from the time of purchase.
What is the Enrollment Period?
All webbook units allow for one year of enrollment period set to 365 days. After that, the user will have to re-enroll to get back access to the webbook.
Getting Started
Can I preview a unit before purchasing?
All webbook units are set for preview, and users are able to get a detailed review before purchasing them.
Do I have to start or complete my unit by a specific time?
You can start and complete the unit at your own pace.
What features are available in the webbook units?
The webbook units include more than thirty (30) features, and a comprehensive list of those features can be found in the webbook Preface under “Summary of Key Features”.
Do I receive anything after I complete a unit?
Some webbook units may include a certificate of completion.
Purchase and Payments
How do I pay for a webbook unit?
We currently offer Stripe. A payment gateway to allow users to pay.
What plans and pricing are available?
We offer the student version and the professional version of the webbook.
How do I make a refund request?
We want you to be satisfied so that all eligible webbook units purchased from us can be refunded within 30 days. If you are unhappy with a webbook unit, you can request a refund, provided the request meets the guidelines in our refund policy. Most refunds are returned via the original payment method.
Please fill out the Refund Request form if you want to request a refund for an eligible webbook unit that you purchased directly from us.
I received email from the platform, but it has my username instead of my actual name, what can I do?
This is happening because you first name and last name may be missing in your profile. Go to Dashboard, click on your profile, and make sure that you correctly fill out your First Name and your Last Name.
Troubleshooting
I am having trouble logging in.
Check to make sure that you have internet.
I’m having issues with my audio or video.
This may be an issue with the device and software compatibility.
I am having trouble downloading the contract documents attached to my Webbook unit.
